To be truly selfless is the most relaxed of lifestyles

At the  subquantum level, the level in which the quantum potential operated, location ceased to exist.  All points in space became equal to all other points in space, and it was meaningless to speak of anything as being separate from anything else. 

Association with one's fellows is essential to the renewal of the zest for life and is indispensable to the maintenance of the courage to fight those battles consequent upon the ascent to the higher levels of human living

Evolving our consciousness is not something we do only for ourselves - it is something we also do for others...for all others, and for the earth.  Because we open up and let our body and mind feel the ties with others and with nature, we change ourselves, and change others around us.  When a sufficient number of people pray or meditate together, or find another path to evolve their consciousness, other people are affected as well.  More sick people heal, divorce and suicide rates drop, crime and violence diminish.  When many people open up, a powerful force develops - a leap of consciousness takes place...

For too long, we have believed that the divine is outside us.  This belief has strained our longing disastrously.  This is so lonely since it is human longing that makes us holy.  The most beautiful thing about us is our longing;  this longing is spiritual and has great depth and wisdom.  If you focus your longing on a faraway divinity, you put an unfair strain on your longing.  Thus it often happens that the longing reaches out towards the distant divine, but, because it over-strains itself, it bends back to become cynicism, emptiness or negativity.  This can destroy your sensibility.  Yet we do not need to put any strain on our longing.  If we believe that the body is in the soul and the soul is divine ground, then the presence of the divine is completely here, close with us.

the remembered image of a thing can have as much impact on the senses as the thing itself.  It can also have a powerful effect on the body's physiology, a state of affairs that has been experienced firsthand by anyone who has ever felt their heart race after imagining hugging a loved one.  Or anyone who has ever felt their palms grow sweaty after conjuring up the memory of some unusually frightening experience.  At first glance the fact that the body cannot always distinguish between an imagined event and a real one seems strange, but when one takes the holographic model into account-a model that asserts that all experiences, whether real or imagined, are reduced to the same common language of holographically organized wave forms-the situation becomes less puzzling.  Or as Achterberg puts it, "When images are regarded in the holographic manner, their omnipotent influence on physical function logically follows.  The image, the behavior, and the physiological concomitants are a unified aspect of the same phenomenon".

to know the truth of who you are you must first know who you are not

Grant that peace may defeat discord, unselfishness may conquer greed, sincere words may overcome deceit and that respect may surmount insults
