I am as everyone is,  on a journey through life and hence approaching physical death but not death of the soul.  I'm finding myself through connecting with people, the earth, sky, and spirit.  At the moment poetry, photography, making mandala's and medicine wheels with image, word and crystals, energy work - Divinity IN, reiki and the crystal kingdom are my driving force and I'm learning to drum - djembe style.

May peace prevail on Earth

GRATITUDE TO THE EARTH

My feet touched the earth.  Accepting them warmly, the earth embraced my soul.  I walked on the earth in silence, and the earth was in peace.  The earth always welcomes us tenderly, without uttering a word.  Always, the earth embraces us in silence.  Even if trodden upon, hurt, or polluted, the earth never tries to take revenge.  The earth only gives.  In heartfelt gratitude I touch the earth and become as the earth.  Oh, beloved earth - on behalf of all humanity I thank you.

Fix your mind inwardly between the eyebrows on the shoreless lake of peace

Watch intently the eternal circle of rippling peace all around you.  The more you watch intently, the more you will feel the wavelets of peace spreading from the eyebrows to the forehead, from the forehead to the heart and on to every cell in your body and inundating the vast territory of your mind.  The flood of peace flows over the boundaries of your mind and moves on in infinite directions.

My heavenly father, thou art love, and I am made in Thine image.  I am the cosmic sphere of love in which I behold all planets, all stars, all beings, all creation as glimmering lights.  I am love that illumines the whole of the universe.

Stream of Life

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day

Recognition of the soul within oneself or within others comes from direct experience of seeing more deeply into ourselves, and receiving the truth of what we see.  Such receptivity joins the physical plane with the plane of creation, enabling us to release the illusion that our bodies are who we are, and to go beneath this perception to the presence that lives within.  The joining of planes of being occurs for some people in a moment of oneness with nature and for others in the perception of direct acts of grace.  However it occurs, the curtain between the spiritual and the physical can be lifted so that we see the soul of others shining behind their eyes, so that we feel the spirit that infuses all of life, and so that we sense the presence of our larger identity or soul at the centre of who we are.
