"Then I heard the white wind blowing gently through the tree and singing there, and from the East the sacred pipe came flying on its eagle wings and stopped before me there beneath the tree, spreading deep peace around it."
Black Elk

Help

Let that tree be always there so that any one can sit in that shade and relax.
The tree is also that from which the sacred pipe stem came. The sacred pipe IS part tree. (and everything else, as well…)

Many thanks for coming to visit my blog sanmugan, Centria and elisa, the reading from Black Elk seems to brings everything together …..Out on my bike ride today I dearly loved the shaded bits of my ride, just as much as the warm sunshine. We live in such a beautiful rural area with many trees, fields and country lanes.
And seemingly no telephone poles or wires to mar the scenery! So beautiful!
Hi Barbara, I think they bury them, but most of the houses down country lanes have them on posts still…

Sounds like we live in similarly beautiful environments. Have you noticed that each tree type has a different song, elder, oak, poplar and pine songs all different - yet in harmony.
Hi Zephyr - yes it's wonderful, our trees have very different energies, I saw a beautiful copper beech tree yesterday while out riding, it was so bright and vibrant, the oaks were offering their wisdom and cool shade as I cycled down the lane, they had a steady and long beat, they held their time perfectly!
To live amidst beautiful trees is heavenly! Great tree image up there giving us a shade of peace and harmony!
Thanks Mila, I love trees in the summer, especially when it's hot and you're on a bike!
peace and light
