The Cat is a simple posture to energize the sacral chakra. If you have seen a cat flex it's back and luxuriate in that stretch, you will have some idea of how good it feels to perform this movement. Stretch only as far as comfortable - never strain. Three repetitions is enough to boost the sacral chakra. Regular use of this pose will also tone the lower back and digestive organs...
1 Kneel down on all fours, making sure your hands are directly in line with your shoulders, your arms straight and your knees parallel. Breathe regularly...
2 Exhale, and as you do so arch your back upwards as far as is comfortable, tilting your pelvis and pulling your stomach muscles upward. This really tones the lower abdomen and the lower back.
3 Inhale, and move the abdomen downward, curving the lower back, lifting up your head to increase the stretch.
4 Return to the first position, breathe for a few moments then repeat the cycle again.

A world without natural and familiar sounds would be alien indeed. Can you imagine weathers without the music of the wind, or the rhythm of pattering rain? An environment without the wave sounds of the sea, the murmur of a river, or the gush of a waterfall? No buzzing bees or cheeping crickets? We may term these intrinsically beautiful sounds the "music of Gaia", after the Greek Goddess of the Earth, Gaia, who has become associated with modern movements towards nature, conservation and enlightenment.

The human body is a living manifestation of ratios and proportions. It is a "sounding board" awaiting the positive influences of therapeutic sounds in which pitch and volume, resonance and harmony, play vital roles. We are an integral part of the unique and consistent geometry of our planet, demonstrated by life forms and consciousness. We are part of and respond to the music of Gaia

Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers - for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are. ~Osho

A flower's appeal is in its contradictions - so delicate in form yet strong in fragrance, so small in size yet big in beauty, so short in life yet long on effect.
