Hear me, four quarters of the world - a relative I am! Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is! Give me the eyes to see and the strength to understand, that I may be like you. With your power only can I face the winds...

The Druids were in the habit of basing their religious practices and philosophies upon patterns easily observable in nature..... The Book of Pheryllt mentions The Order of spectrum colour, as being of great consequence to the Druids - as all natural patterns were seen as a direct reflection of "God's perfection made flesh". Through such patterns, (the Druids reasoned) man was privileged with a rare opportunity to "know something of God, who in himself is Unknowable"
The Pheryllt manuscript includes a ritual towards its very end, entitled Rite of the Flaming Door, which must surely be the same thing as the Active Door reference mentioned in the Celtic Mabinogion, also sometimes called Third Door or the Strong Door. By whichever name, The Door existed beyond the confines of our world of Abred, and to the Druids "Beyond the 7 coloured lights". This belief lies at the heart of the Rite outlined in the story, and which will be re-enscapulated here for easier use....If we were to extend the ancient metaphors surrounding The Celtic Door to the Beyond into today's lingo, it could certainly be called The Door "Somewhere over the Rainbow"
Before studying the rite it is suggested that The Rites of Assumption, where the concept of illumination is dealt with be read and understood. The key to the successful use of the rite will lie with the magician's ability to illuminate the given archetypal images into spiritual life.
The Master Chart of Elemental Symbolism found in Chapter III is of great help in studying the colour/elemental associations. A glass or crystal prism is useful to explore the visual/tactile energies of colour first-hand.
The book The 21 Lessons of Merlyn - A Study in Druid Magic and Lore - Douglas Monroe - is used and the above text is taken from the book.
A circle is cast outdoors - and a settling back within (meditational frame of mind) is found. Incense can be used. The Rite of the 3 Ways is used to prepare the circle. Close your eyes and count heartbeats until a suspension state settles in. Lastly illuminate the prose from rote...
Verse
I am a STONE hidden under the earth...
I am the PURPLE DEPTHS of the sea...
I am a BLUE CRESTED WAVE under the moon...
I am an ancient EMERALD FOREST....
I am a YELLOW TEAR of the sun...
I am an ORANGE PUMPKIN in a field....
I am a FLAMING DOOR....
Once your Otherworld Body stands before the Flaming Door, wait for it to open and then move through if desired - in the manner of a Gateway Rite. To return, exit back through the door and reverse the above verse - symbolism is used and is found in the above mentioned book.

Originally, we human beings have been forming the universe, from day to day, hour to hour, and moment to moment. At the same time, we have been firmly connected into one with all the creatures and existences, while mutually thriving and subsisting with one another. We are not just main characters to experience our own lives; we have simultaneously been forming the universe. It is not just that our consciousness creates our own fates. It, at the same time, serves as the energy that makes up the universe...
our physical body is a reflection of the universal law. Furthermore, the universe and our DNA's are interconnected and likewise, we are also interconnected with one another. The stronger our consciousness is with relation to this interconnection, the deeper our ties will be with the universe and others. This truth of interconnection will largely convert humanity's way of living in the 21st century....from now on spiritual connections will be given more importance than material connections. Hence the world and humanity will be rescued from collapse.
If human beings infinitely link with the ultimate divine truth, and go on awakening themselves to the divine consciousness that firmly exists within them, there will be no need to worry about their future....

Drumming connects you with your bones, your heartbeat and your natural rhythms. You connect with the drum by feeling it in your heart and letting your feelings transfer into the drum...
The beat of the drum pushes through emotions and intellect, connecting us to our inner selves and our spirits, it seems to enhance our lives, enabling us to stretch beyond ourself in a trance like state as every cell of our body resonates to the beat of the drum.

1st Priciple - Believe that you are the master of your own life
We are creating our own reality every moment of our lives, and it is necessary to know this truth, if we are to gain a deeper understanding of what it is to be human.
What we are now is a reflection of our past desires, will and deeds. In understanding this, now we must ask ourselves what we want from life, and what we can give. What we will do or be, will then be determined by what our thoughts are.
Exercise and Affirmation
Sit quietly and observe your breath for a while. Breathe in rhythmically and gently. In your mind, say to yourself:
"I am the Master of my own life. I take and accept responsibility for my life, my thoughts, my desires and my deeds".

2ND principle - From Jason Chan's book Seven Principles for Radiant Living
We are continually influenced by our subconscious conditions. Through the journey of life, we are not influenced by positive and good patterns alone. It is therefore important to embark on a journey of clearing our collected unfavourable patterns and conditioning if we want to live fully here and now.
Exercise and Affirmation
Sit in peace, observe your breath for a while and find a quiet place in your mind. Breath rhythmically and gently. In your mind, say to yourself:
"I let go of the past. It no longer serves my higher purpose"
(Repeat this at least three times)
In carrying out this exercise, you can be specific to any problem, relationship difficulty, unworthy image etc.

3RD Principle - I will be kind to myself
Many people do not know how to love themselves, let along share love with others. It is very important to take time off to nurture ourselves, physically, emotionally and mentally.
There are ways you can practise being kind to yourself. Tai-Chi gentle movement for grace and beauty, Chi-Kung Chinese breathing art for inner strength, Yoga for physical strength and flexibility, relaxation and meditation to heal our hearts and minds and to nurture the soul - all of these are beneficial.
If we really want to be successful in life we must care for ourselves, and love ourselves always.
Exercise and affirmation:
Sit quietly with your back straight and observe your breath for a while. Use your nose to breathe in and your mouth to breath out. When you are ready, in your mind say to yourself:
"I nurture myself. I look after my physical body, nurture my feelings and take time to clear my mind".
To assist us further, to nurture our feelings and calm the mind, we can use this additional meditative affirmation and simple breathing exercise:
Sit quietly and observe your breath for a short while. Breathe in slowly and hold for three seconds. Continue this breathing cycle and as you breathe in, imagine you are sitting on a mountain-top watching the sunrise. Breathe in the mountain breeze to clear and still your mind.
At the same time, let the fresh breeze wash your emotions.
