ETERNAL BLISS - A POEM

Faery wings across russet sunset skies
harmonic heart beats dull the steady roar
pulses of time quicken lulling into nothingness
Leaf melted tendrils of dark beauty
songs of contentment sung across dusk's lilting melodies
many voices lift humanity's mantle into soft caressed oblivion
transluscent wings quicken the hasty breeze
autumn air crisp with the promise of winter's pristine snows
love beckons beneath our earth mother's mantle of molten eternal bliss

Oh, Tai, this is so enchanting… You could publish a little inspirational book of your poetry! When I was little I loved the magic of dusk, especially walking in the autumn woods, feeling the fallen leaves crunching under my feet as I hurried home, knowing I had about half an hour after sunset to make it home before it got totally dark. Your poem took me back there…
Hi Barbara, was just over at your grapevine!
Thanks so much, I love writing and making pictures…
I remember walking home from school in the autumn collecting acorns and conkers - I had a nature table with shells, rocks, feathers, seeds and the like, I'm still the same, I love picking up things on my walks and taking pictures of them
eatting this with you this morning…savoring the taste of every sense…feeling the gentle rythme of your rhymes…joy rising and overflowing within my being…marveling at your beauty of being…
love and joy*
What are conkers?
Conkers are seeds from the Horse Chestnut tree over here in england, we used to dry them out, thread a string through the center and have conker fights, whoevers conker cracked first lost the game!
Hi starlight - love and appreciation to you and so much joy…
thanks for coming over on my gaia 1st anniversary day!
Happy Anniversary Day!!!*
Thank you so much - I've just brought a big bag of apples from mum and dad's today to make a crumble - my apple crop finished a few weeks ago, we had been eating about 3 crumbles a week (all that peeling!!) - I love the smell of apples cooking!
me too…i just ate mine i had cooked earlier…i love that u don't even have to sweeten them…they are so delicious!!!
what is a crumble? i could google it i spose, but then i'd rather converse with u than google…lol
Happy anniversary day Tai… and love that photo as much as the poem.
Happy Gaia anniversary dear Tai. You make this such a beautiful place with your beautiful heart, your beautiful poetry and your beautiful photos. I agree with Barbara, you really should consider getting a book of your poetry with your photos published.
Thank you Terrill, you all make it so special here on Gaia!
Thanks Kala, maybe I will one of these days!
Love and hugz to you both
Tai
love you so, Tai. hard to believe it has been a year in a way - it seemed yesterday you were the new bright star and yet in another way it seems hard to believe only a year, i feel i have known you longer…
Hi Nicole, maybe we have all had so many changes in our lives in the last 12 months and yet essentially we are the same unique and beautiful person. We all help each other to grow and I believe time sometimes seems to speed up and slow down, depending on what we are engaged in/learning. So yes, it feels like a year and yet it doesn't!! Thank you for “travelling alongside” me on our Gaia journey…
Love Tai
I couldn't quite picture a conker fight so I did a search and found the World Conker Championships!
